50/50 Volunteers Help Kids Succeed

United Way Centraide North East Ontario - Wednesday, 22 May 2019

United Way Centraide North East Ontario / Nord-est de l’Ontario (UWCNEO) is proud to recognize the efforts of more than 25 dedicated WOLVES United – United FIVE electronic 50/50 volunteers who helped raise a record $385,945.

“During the 2018/19 season(s), this exceptional group of volunteers attended 65 games, donating over 2,000 hours of their time, in support of children and youth in our community,” says Sarah Dost, Community Mobilization and Engagement Manager with UWCNEO. “Without them, this initiative would not be possible.”

“The Wolves United – United FIVE partnership is proud to support children and youth in our community. Programs that receive funding are targeted; helping to build resiliency, develop skills, and promote self-care,” says Dario Zulich, Owner and Governor of the Sudbury Wolves and the Sudbury Five. “Our volunteers are instrumental in every aspect of our shared efforts, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support.”

In preparation for the 2019/20 season, UWCNEO is currently recruiting volunteers to join our 50/50 team. A variety of roles, including ticket sellers and counters, are available. For more information, please contact Sarah Dost at 705-560-3330 ext. 216 or
