WOLVES United-United FIVE Funding Opportunities
United Way Centraide North East Ontario in partnership with SW Sports and Entertainment are excited to announce that applications for funding from the WOLVES United – United FIVE Electronic 50/50 Raffle are now being accepted.
“Children and youth are one of our community’s greatest assets. We believe all kids, regardless of their circumstances deserve to have a great start in life, do well in school and reach their potential,” says Michael Cullen, Executive Director with UWCNEO. “The WOLVES United – United FIVE partnership helps to ensure that local youth have opportunities, safe places and spaces, and accessible programs that help them develop into young adults.”
Qualifying charities working to support youth and/or youth mental health initiatives (capital, subsidies, projects) are invited to submit their completed application by March 25, 2019. Funding requests up to $5,000 will be reviewed and considered.
“Thanks to the generosity of our fans, WOLVES United-United FIVE grants are being put to work, right here in our community. This year alone, we’ve invested $72,000 into 22 programs and initiatives. With today’s announcement, we hope that more organizations will consider applying,” says Dario Zulich, Owner and Governor of The Sudbury WOLVES and the Sudbury FIVE.
