• COVID-19 Community Response Fund

Like everyone in our community, United Way Centraide North East Ontario/Nord-est de l’Ontario has been closely monitoring the global and local impact of COVID-19.

As the situation evolves, so does the needs in our community. Many of our fellow residents are facing hardships and will need the help of their neighbours to get through this unprecedented time.

We live in a kind and caring community, and know that we will get through this together.

THE COMMUNITY
RESPONSE FUND

UWCNEO has established a Community Response Fund to provide emergency grants to local charitable organizations working to meet the basic needs of individuals disproportionately impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The Fund will help to ensure that grants are available to charities across the North East Region who are providing life’s essentials, such as food or other resources required when helping the most vulnerable stay healthy.

Basic Needs

Ensure people have access to life’s essentials, such as food.

Help for Seniors

Ensure that while vulnerable people are isolated, they are also supported.

Community Services

Ensure that community partners can continue to do their vital local work.

If you are able, please give generously.
